Purpose

The SIG centers around discussion of processes, best practices, recruiting, training, and methods of engagement with a critical institution resource – the student workforce. Our goal is to learn what has worked in the diverse work environments across the UNC System, and to share information and resources that may benefit each other in this endeavor. We are here to serve our campus communities, and the student workforce is an area that should be a focus in order to provide the highest level of service possible, all while keeping in mind that they are students first and staff second.
