UNC CAUSE works to facilitate the trading of technology information between campuses of the UNC system by arranging conferences annually. In addition to the fall technical conference, there are also quarterly video conferences in which anyone may participate.

Fall Technical Conferences

UNC CAUSE holds a large technical conference each fall for all information technology and related staff on each campus.

The state is divided into three regions consisting of geographical grouping of campuses (East, Central, West), with each region hosting the conference on a rotating basis every year. Campuses in each region join together to organize and coordinate all the activities related to this event.
