UNC CAUSE comes with a bunch of fantastic events. This year we’re pleased to see some specialized groups meeting both before and after the conference. Those who are interested in accessibility can sign up for the Introduction to Web Accessibility workshop taking place Monday morning. UNC system staff that support technology in classrooms, should consider joining us for the Classroom Summit, that follows the UNC CAUSE Conference on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning.

In addition we have some great activities planned for conference participants. Monday evening attendees can face-off for general trivia, with prizes, drinks, and a great selection of desserts provided by our vendors, Cisco, NWN, and NetApp. Tuesday night we’ll be headed to the lovely Brooklyn Arts Center for music, dancing, drinks, and dinner provided by HP, Systel, CDWG, and Intel! And don’t forget about Tuesday’s lunch!

A trolley will run between the Hilton Wilmington Riverside and the Convention Center in the morning and afternoon hours, to assist those who need it. Anyone who wants to walk may do so along Waters/Nutt Street, or along the Riverwalk.

We will also have a trolley running continuously between the Hilton, the Best Western and the Tuesday evening venue, the Brooklyn Arts Center, beginning at 6:00pm on Tuesday until 10:30pm. Again, attendees may choose to walk to the venue; it’s about a 12-15 minute walk (map).
